Linda Walsh The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Quadrennial Energy Review (QER) was intended to provide direction for U.S. energy policy to the year 2040. Its second installment (QER 1.2), published in January 2017, is the principal articulation of the Obama administration’s promotion of clean energy resources and advanced technologies, and arguably QER 1.2 comports with the Trump administration’s priorities for infrastructure investment and improvement.
