Law360, New York (February 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Several movie studios embroiled in a copyright battle with RealNetworks Inc. over a DVD-copying program — including Paramount Pictures Corp., Twentieth Century Fox Firm Corp. and Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. — have asked the court overseeing their dispute to sanction RealNetworks for allegedly destroying evidence.
The studios filed a motion for sanctions and spoliation of evidence on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
