Workers Group Hits City Of Memphis With Free Speech Suit

Law360, New York (March 1, 2017, 5:21 PM EST) -- The city of Memphis was hit with a lawsuit in Tennessee federal court on Wednesday by a local fast food labor organization accusing the police department of conspiring to use widespread surveillance and intimidation to chill workers’ free speech rights in their fight for $15-an-hour wages for fast food workers.
