Human Rights, Money Laundering Issues Loom For Law Firms

Law360, Chicago (March 3, 2017, 9:26 PM EST) -- For law firms to honor client requests and preserve their own reputations, they increasingly must address human rights issues and their own money-laundering risk, speakers at a risk management conference said Friday.

Those are among the chief concerns that law firm general counsel will face going forward, said Sarah Warren, associate general counsel at Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP, a speaker at the Legal Malpractice & Risk Management Conference in Chicago.
