Judge Rejects Defenses In Rambus DRAM Litigation

Law360, New York (March 4, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has adopted a March 2008 jury verdict in favor of Rambus Inc. in denying a number of defenses raised by manufacturers accused of infringing the chip designer's semiconductor patents.

Judge Ronald M. Whyte of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California issued a ruling Tuesday that resolves all outstanding issues in the case between Rambus and Hynix Semiconductor Inc., which was previously found liable for infringement.
