Jury Finds Phone Reseller Didn't Breach Sprint Contract

Law360, New York (March 10, 2017, 10:44 PM EST) -- A Kansas federal jury has ruled unanimously in favor of cellphone reseller The Middle Man, ending Sprint Nextel’s long-running suit accusing the company of breach of contract.

The jury found Thursday that The Middle Man Inc. did not breach the terms and conditions of its customer contract with Sprint Nextel Corp., whose 2012 lawsuit brought 13 counts against the business and 12 against its owner, Brian K. Vasquez, including trademark infringement and unfair competition claims.
