Samson Wants Out Of Conoco Contract Spat

Law360 (March 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Contending that ConocoPhillips Co. is trying to short the estate of bankrupt oil distributor SemCrude LP, oil producer Samson Investment Co. has asked a judge to dismiss its interest from a case filed by ConocoPhillips against SemCrude, Samson and others seeking to settle a contract for about $11.6 million.
