NY AG Strikes Deals With 2 More Insurers

Law360 (March 5, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- In the latest deals struck over a probe into conflicts of interest in out-of-network reimbursements, the New York attorney general has reached agreements with Excellus Health Plan Inc. and Capital District's Physician Health Plan Inc. requiring them to reimburse consumers under a new system.

On Thursday, New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo announced the deals signed by the two major upstate health insurers in which they agreed not to use the "defective" Ingenix database for reimbursements.
