Phyllis Schlafly's Son Sues Over Life Insurance Proceeds

Law360, New York (March 17, 2017, 4:13 PM EDT) -- A son of late conservative leader Phyllis Schlafly has hit an insurer with a New Jersey state court lawsuit over the proceeds of a life insurance policy on her life, saying the business is improperly planning to not pay him and fellow members of the political advocacy group his mother founded.

Andrew L. Schlafly alleged that the proceeds belong to him and other Eagle Forum members but that Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. intends to turn over the money to a state entity or to individuals...
