Finnish Metal Firm Denies U.S. Cartel Activity

Law360, New York (August 23, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Recently hit with another U.S. antitrust lawsuit, Finnish metal firm Outokumpu Oyj has vowed to fight the slew of litigation accusing the firm of engaging in anti-competitive practices in the copper pipe market.

The embattled company indicated this week that it has recently received one U.S. complaint and knows of at least four other class actions suits that have been filed against it.
