Low On Fuel, RV Maker Monaco Coach Files For Ch. 11

Law360, New York (March 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Monaco Coach Corp. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Thursday, three days after the leading recreational vehicle maker announced it had laid off the majority of its remaining work force and was seeking additional financing or a corporate transaction in order to stay afloat.

The Oregon-based company and 12 affiliates filed voluntary Chapter 11 petitions in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, citing assets of $442 million and liabilities of $209 million.
