Rambus Granted Stay In Hynix Patent Case

Law360, New York (August 23, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rambus Inc. has been granted a conditional stay in the final round of its patent infringement lawsuit with Hynix Semiconductor Inc. due to a pending antitrust case brought against Rambus by the Federal Trade Commission.

Granted on Monday, the stay will postpone the final stage of the litigation over memory chip technologies until either February 2, 2007 or a final order is issued in the antitrust case.
