Papst Gets 2nd Shot At Camera IP Suit V. Sanyo

Law360 (March 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has given German patent licensing company Papst Licensing GmbH & Co. KG permission to file a new complaint against Sanyo North America Corp. over two patents on a high-speed interface for digital cameras, after throwing out Papst's original complaint last fall.

Judge Rosemary M. Collyer of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled Thursday that Papst has until March 16 to file an amended complaint against Sanyo containing more details about Sanyo's alleged infringement than the original “bare bones” complaint....
