Pilots Union Can't Stir Trouble At United: 7th Circ.

Law360 (March 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a ruling barring the Air Line Pilots Association International from interfering in United Airlines' operations, including instituting strikes and work slowdowns, as the union tries to renegotiate a collective bargaining agreement.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit upheld a lower court's ruling in favor of United Air Lines Inc. on Friday, finding that the conduct of the Air Line Pilots Association union and four individual defendants violated the Railway Labor Act, according to the decision.
