SF Employer-Funded Health Care Appeal Nixed

Law360, New York (March 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- San Francisco's controversial program requiring employers to spend specific amounts on employees' health care may be headed for a showdown in the U.S. Supreme Court, with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit shooting down a bid by a group representing restaurant operators to revisit an earlier decision finding the program legal.
