Bid To Reopen Trade Secret Suit V. Fujitsu Denied

Law360, New York (March 10, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Information technology development company LinkCo Inc. has failed in its attempt to void a past settlement and proceed with new fraud claims in a suit over alleged trade secret misappropriation by Japanese technology company Fujitsu Ltd.

Judge Shira A. Scheindlin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York issued an order Friday agreeing to dismiss the new action and claims filed by LinkCo against Fujitsu and CEO Naoyuki Akikusa with prejudice.
