Tribune Resolves Trustee Objection To Lazard Hire

Law360 (March 11, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Tribune Co. has resolved an objection to its bid to hire Lazard Frères & Co. LLC as its Chapter 11 financial adviser, which the U.S. trustee had criticized based on the investment banker's fees and its earlier retention by the holding company for rival newspaper the Chicago Sun-Times.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware canceled a hearing on the objection set for Friday after receiving word from the attorneys for the Chicago Tribune's owner that the parties had resolved the dispute....
