DC Circ. Upholds FCC Denial Of Spectrum License

Law360 (March 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a decision denying M2Z Networks Inc.'s application for exclusive access to a spectrum band it wants to use to provide free wireless broadband Internet across the nation.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit on Monday upheld a decision by the Federal Communications Commission denying the company's request for a 15-year exclusive license to the 2155-2175 megahertz band.
