Fla. State Atty Sues Gov. Over Removal From Homicide Cases

Law360, New York (April 12, 2017, 10:08 PM EDT) -- A Florida state attorney claims Gov. Rick Scott violated her constitutional rights when he removed her from 23 pending homicide cases over what he described as “her blanket opposition” to the death penalty, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in Florida federal court.
