Rambus Appeals Patent Ruling Over Shredded Docs

Law360, New York (March 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rambus Inc. has filed an appeal seeking to overturn a Delaware federal court ruling banning the company from enforcing 12 of its semiconductor patents against rival memory chip maker Micron Technology Inc.

The California chip maker filed a notice of appeal Wednesday to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, which is also expected to hear an appeal by Hynix Semiconductor Inc. in similar litigation with Rambus pending in California.
