Fuji Prevails As Appeals Court Upholds Injunction

Law360 (August 24, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has ruled in favor of Fuji Photo Film Co. Ltd., granting the company a win in the latest battle in its campaign to stop competitors from re-using discarded shells from its disposable cameras.

The appellants—Ribi Tech Products LLC, Jack Benun, Polytech Enterprises Ltd. and Polytech (Shenzhen) Camera Co. Ltd.—asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to nix a preliminary injunction issued by a federal court in New Jersey.
