Tower Records Seeks To Hire O’Melveny & Myers

Law360, New York (August 24, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Tower Records Inc., which filed for Chapter 11 last week, has asked the bankruptcy court for permission to retain O’Melveny & Myers LLP as its co-counsel.

The music retailer filed its retention request with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware on Wednesday.

If its request is approved, partner Stephen H. Warren will head up Tower’s efforts as the principal assigned to the case.

The firm plans to advise Tower on a wide range of bankruptcy matters, including the requirements of the bankruptcy code...
