Fla. High Court Won't Halt Cases After State Atty Removal

Law360, New York (April 26, 2017, 9:58 PM EDT) -- The Florida Supreme Court said late Tuesday it will not stop 23 homicide cases from moving forward without the original state prosecutor assigned to them, while it considers her challenge to Gov. Rick Scott's authority to remove her due to her reluctance to pursue the death penalty in a high-profile double murder.
