Malpractice Insurer Drops $10M Reinsurance Battle

Law360 (March 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- More than three years after ordering arbitration, a federal judge has signed off on the stipulated dismissal of the three remaining reinsurers — including Certain Underwriters at Lloyd's, London — from a suit brought by a medical malpractice insurer seeking to compel more than $10 million in coverage for a 2004 settlement.
