Judge Won't Certify Mislabeled Pet Food Suit

Law360, New York (March 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused to certify a class action against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and others for allegedly selling pet food falsely labeled as made in the U.S., finding that the proposed class members could not be assumed to have relied on the label when they bought the pet food.
