GSK Not Liable For La. Paxil Suicide: 5th Circ.

Law360, New York (March 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a decision in favor of GlaxoSmithKline PLC in a failure-to-warn suit alleging its antidepressant Paxil was a factor in the suicide of a Louisiana man, upholding a lower court ruling that cited the “learned intermediary doctrine.”
