As 1 Roche Investor Suit Ends, Another Moves Ahead

Law360, New York (March 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Though Roche Holdings Inc. satiated one group of shareholders when it upped its offer to $95 a share for Genentech Inc., other investors are pushing ahead with a lawsuit that accuses the companies of violating securities laws and of breaching their fiduciary duties.

In an amended complaint filed Tuesday with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, a proposed class of plaintiffs asked for injunctive relief to stop the acquisition and for compensatory damages.
