Mayo To Pay Sandridge $2M In Oil Services Spat

Law360, New York (March 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered Mayo Energy Partners LLC to pay more than $2 million as part of an agreed dismissal of a suit brought by Sandridge Energy Inc. that accused the foreign energy company of failing to pay nearly $3 million for oil and gas exploration services performed by Sandridge.

Judge Mary Lou Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas issued the agreed final judgment in the breach of contract suit Tuesday.
