Constellation, PPL Settle Emissions Contract Spat

Law360, New York (March 19, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Utility companies Constellation Energy Commodities Group and PPL Energyplus have settled a dispute over contracts for nitrogen oxide permits that PPL had stopped honoring in light of an appeals court's decision to vacate the Clean Air Interstate Rule.

In an order signed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Judge Paul G. Gardephe dismissed all pending motions in the suit as moot after both parties informed him that they had settled all claims.
