Law360, New York (May 23, 2017, 10:43 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Justice budget request shows where the rubber could hit the road for the Donald Trump administration enforcement priorities, with beefed up drug and health care fraud resources and a haircut at the Criminal Division.
While it's only a proposal and will likely morph in the hands of Congress, the budget gives some insight into how Attorney General Jeff Sessions proposes to deliver a crackdown on drugs, immigration and what Sessions views as increased violent crime, while still staying on top of financial wrongdoing.
