Court Won't Vacate Preemption Ruling In Redux Suit

Law360 (March 23, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Finding that two recent U.S. Supreme Court rulings on preemption do not warrant the reconsideration of a ruling in a product liability suit against Wyeth Pharmaceutical Inc. over the weight loss drug Redux, a federal judge has denied the plaintiff's motion to revive the suit.
