Pa. Justices Will Review Ruling On Workers' Comp. Atty Fees

Law360, Philadelphia (June 6, 2017, 4:55 PM EDT) -- The Pennsylvania Supreme Court said Tuesday that it would review a finding that obligates workers' compensation attorneys to return attorneys' fees imposed on an employer in the event that the employer ultimately triumphs in a dispute.

The court will look at a December decision from the state’s Commonwealth Court, which ordered a Pittsburgh attorney to return $14,750 in “unreasonable contest” fees to Allegheny County.
