US Exempt From Weather Warning Liability: 11th Circ.

Law360 (March 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has affirmed a summary judgment ruling against U.S. Aviation Underwriters Inc. and Haulers Insurance Co. Inc. in a lawsuit the insurers brought against the U.S. government alleging it was liable for failing to warn pilots of turbulence conditions that led to a small-plane crash in Georgia.
