Chamber Of Commerce Renews Fight Over Philly Wage Law

Law360, Philadelphia (June 13, 2017, 4:57 PM EDT) -- The Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia on Tuesday renewed its challenge to a new city ordinance barring employers from asking about a prospective worker’s salary history, two weeks after its complaint was tossed by a federal judge.

After U.S. District Judge Mitchell Goldberg ruled that the business group had failed to say how the measure would negatively affect any of its members, the chamber was silent about whether it would continue its fight against the ordinance.
