Army Corps Says Omnibus Act OKs Everglades Project

Law360 (March 25, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers moved to dismiss a suit brought by an Indian tribe over a proposed highway bridge in the Everglades, citing a section of the Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009 which instructs the corps to commence construction immediately.
