Amex Assurance Settles Radiologist's RICO Suit

Law360, New York (March 25, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Amex Assurance Co. is the latest insurer to settle with a medical doctor in a lawsuit that accuses nearly 20 insurance companies and the National Insurance Crime Bureau of engaging in a fraudulent scheme to avoid paying out claims under New York's “no-fault” law.
