EPA Greenlights Ariz. Carbon Capture Project

Law360, New York (March 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and its Arizona counterpart have issued permits for a carbon dioxide injection pilot project that would put 2,000 tons of the gas in a subterranean saline formation beneath an Arizona Public Service Co. power plant in the state.
