SEC Claims Over Unregistered Offering Survive

Law360 (March 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has refused to trim claims from a lawsuit accusing New York-based Compass Capital Group Inc. and executives from former 21st Century Technologies Inc. of taking part in an illegal unregistered public offering in 2003.

Judge Edward C. Reed of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada on Tuesday denied a motion to dismiss two claims against Compass Capital and its principal, Mark A. Lefkowitz, after finding federal regulators adequately pled their case.
