By Eric Schillinger (June 28, 2017, 12:43 PM EDT) -- On June 22, 2017, Senate Republicans unveiled a "discussion draft" of the Better Care Reconciliation Act of 2017 (BCRA), a bill that seeks to repeal, replace, revise or delay many of the federal health care laws enacted in 2010 by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA).[1] And on June 27 Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., announced that the Senate will not vote on the BCRA until after the Senate's July 4 recess.
