Claims Cut From Suit Over Railcar Explosion

Law360 (March 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has trimmed claims from a lawsuit OCI Chemical Corp. brought against American Railcar Industries Inc. after two railcars the chemical maker obtained from ARI blew up in 2002.

Magistrate Judge Frederick R. Buckles of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri on Wednesday granted ARI summary judgment on claims for breach of implied warranty but decided to keep certain other claims in the suit.
