Judge Endorses Saint Vincent’s Deal With Labor Groups

Law360, New York (August 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- With the sale of several of Saint Vincent's hospitals pending, a federal bankruptcy judge has signed off on the beleaguered New York hospital chain’s agreement with a slew of labor groups.

On Tuesday, Judge Adlai Hardin, Jr. of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York greenlighted the deal prior to the closing of the sale of a pair of hospitals.
