Teachers Sue Puerto Rico Over Fiscal Plan Budget Reductions

Law360, New York (July 10, 2017, 6:23 PM EDT) -- An organization representing professors for the University of Puerto Rico filed a complaint Sunday against the commonwealth and the federally appointed board overseeing the island's debilitating debt crisis, saying a fiscal plan approved earlier this year that cuts the university's budget by $200 million is illegal.
