Judge Eases Way For Appeal In Crash Suit V. Cessna

Law360, New York (March 30, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has given final certification to the dismissal of claims brought against Cessna Aircraft Co. and Goodrich Corp. by the owner and the operator of a plane involved in a fatal plane crash in Idaho, advancing the plaintiffs' effort to appeal the decision.

Judge Kathryn H. Vratil of the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas on March 26 sustained a motion from plaintiffs Mountain Bird Inc. and Spirit Air Inc. for a Rule 54(b) certification.
