Hedge Fund Suit Against Citigroup Over Trading Nixed

Law360, New York (March 31, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Asserting that the allegations fail to support claims of fraud under the Commodity Exchange Act, a federal judge has thrown out a suit filed by hedge fund Walrus Master Fund Ltd. against Citigroup Global Markets Inc. over Citigroup’s alleged short-changing of the hedge fund in a trading arrangement.
