Former SunTrust Executive Exonerated

Law360, New York (August 31, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Less than a week after the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission dropped its probe into SunTrust Banks Inc., regulators have also cleared the company’s former chief credit officer of any wrongdoing in the case.

On Wednesday, Sandra Jansky revealed that she had been let off the hook, putting to rest nearly two years of suspicion that she had engaged in improper accounting during her tenure at SunTrust.
