New York Beats Back Challenges To Nuke Plant Subsidies

Law360, New York (July 25, 2017, 5:16 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Tuesday nixed challenges to the Empire State's plan to subsidize struggling nuclear power plants, saying the plan doesn't intrude on federal jurisdiction of wholesale electricity markets and is a constitutional use of the state’s authority to tackle climate change.
