Boxing Promoter Says Fla. Gym Infringing 'Main Event' Name

Law360, Miami (July 27, 2017, 6:14 PM EDT) -- Prominent boxing promoter Main Events is looking to knock out a St. Petersburg, Florida, gym it claims is knowingly using a confusingly similar name in violation of its well-established trademark — including to promote boxing competitions — according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in federal court in Tampa.
