Court Weighs Sending TiVo DVR Spat To Texas

Law360, New York (April 1, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge in Delaware has refused to dismiss Dish Network Corp.'s bid for declaratory relief against TiVo Inc. over a patent that has already led to a $74 million award against the satellite television provider, but the judge told the two companies to prepare briefs on whether the suit should head to the district court in Texas that handled the original case.
