Environmental Law Vets Named For DOI, EPA Posts

Law360, New York (April 1, 2009, 12:00 AM EDT) -- President Obama has picked two seasoned environmental litigators to fill posts at the U.S. Department of the Interior and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response.

According to a White House announcement Tuesday, Obama will be submitting nominations for Anne Castle to serve as assistant secretary for water science at the DOI and Mathy V. Stanislaus to fill the position of assistant administrator for the EPA's Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response.
