Dorsey & Whitney Enviro Pro, 'Best Partner' Jim Rubin Dies

Law360, New York (July 31, 2017, 9:43 PM EDT) -- James Rubin, a widely respected environmental attorney at Dorsey & Whitney LLP who focused on air pollution and climate change law and policy, died on Friday at the age of 54 from complications arising from cancer.

The illness was discovered only within the last few weeks, according to Chip Magid, the partner in charge of Dorsey’s Washington, D.C., office. Rubin is survived by his wife, Nancie Thomas, who is senior counsel at Conservation International, and two sons.
